Psychopharmacology of Memory modulation
The Psychopharmacology of Memory modulation Lab studies the effects of stress on memory function, investigating the role of different neural circuits that mediate behaviour in response to stress.
In particular, our main purpose is to provide a better understanding of the role of the endocannabinoid system in the modulation of memory function and its specific action in response to both acute and chronic stressors.
The Psychopharmacology of Memory modulation Lab recently expanded its focus to investigate the cognitive features of PTSD patients and the neurobiological underpinnings of memory processes of superior autobiographical memory (HSAM) in a human population.
